Oslo Reptile Park (28.02.2009)

I just had to go back to this place, even if I was there only a few months ago. The desire to photograph something living and exotic finaly got the best of me again. I tried really hard to get good shots, but yet again the difficult, mixed light conditions (+ no flash to “freeze” movement) and slow apertures proved to be a serious challenge. Also, as last time, the glass cages were smudged with all kinds of identifiable and unidentifiable substances, introducing all kinds of “interesting” optical phenomenons in my images. The following pictures are a tiny selection of the several hundred frames I shot, basically those I liked the most/found for some reason interesting. I wish there where more. It’s funny how you dig down into the matter of photography, only to constantly realise that you have so much more to learn :)
