The cover of Ramones 1976-debut album

I did a shoot with “The Schmucks” a week ago, off -stage. The guys wanted some images for their website and so forth, and I didn’t mind. Great practice shooting living things, not to mention fun :) I’m not much of a people photographer, but I don’t mind the chance to learn. The “main” shot of this session was to make an image that’s supposed to be a tribute to the album cover of Ramones first album from 1976. The firs picture in the set is our attempt. Obviously it involved heavy post processing and adjustments, and I’m quite satisfied with the result. Replicating a 30 year old image, shot on something like Tri-X with a smooth digital file is not all that easy. The rest of the pictures in the set are processed in various ways to give the guys different styles to choose from, except of the portraits where I wanted mostly natural look.
