“Ullsokk”, meaning wollen/yarn sock, is a band of girls with a common passion for wollen socks… On stage they all look pretty cute and decent, untill they start singing, or perhaps howling is a better description ;) This is no pretty-facers pretending to be artists, these girls are the real deal, and do in fact force some pretty hefty tunes out of their instruments, not to forget, some raw vocal on top of that. I’m not sure where to put them precisely in terms of genre, but definitely rooted/inspired by classic rock, that’s for sure :) Totaly loved their performance at this years “Day of The Music” in Oslo and hope I’ll get a chance to see them live again.
